Why Hire A Birth Photographer?
Allowing someone other than a professional photographer to take photos of your baby's birth is like telling your wedding guests to take cell phone pictures on your wedding day. Birth photography preserves the beautiful memories of your unique and emotional birth story, including all of the details surrounding that day. It's true when they say that the INSTANT your baby is placed on your chest, the mental memory of the day becomes a blur. The value of hiring an experienced professional in the genre of birth will always be worth the investment!

When Will I Receive My Images?
Your full online gallery will be ready in 2-4 weeks! If you've chosen the photo + video package, you can expect the video to be finished within 4-6 weeks.
While not guaranteed, I do my best to provide you with a few "sneak peaks" within 48 hours after birth to share as an announcement with family and friends.
How Many Images Will I Receive?
There is not a set number of images I deliver. As long as the picture is clear, in focus and meets my expectations on quality; you'll get it! A typical gallery usually consists of 100+ photos.
Although it is important to remember the number of images delivered can vary based on laboring positions, use of epidural, length of labor, etc.
Will You Post My Images Online?
It all depends on your level of comfort. The images in my portfolio gives others who may be interested in birth photography some insight into what it actually looks like and what my particular style is. HOWEVER, my first priority is YOU! I will never post graphic or more revealing images online that you are not comfortable with.
When Do You Arrive?
I'm prepared to meet you at your birthing place once you're in active labor or around 6-7cm, so COMMUNICATION IS KEY. This is always a case-by-case scenario and I can help you to know when it's time.
How Far Do You Travel?
Currently serving the Permian Basin and surrounding areas including:
Odessa, Midland, Andrews, Big Spring, Snyder, Crane, Lamesa, Stanton, Seminole and Sweetwater. Travel fees may be added if outside Midland/Odessa area.
Do I Need To Inform My Provider?
Yes! Please inform your provider that you're thinking about hiring a birth photographer prior to booking. While many providers are on board, if you are planning a hospital birth or c-section, there may be policies in place with restrictions that I must know about ahead of time and abide by.
